The past two weeks of construction on our Middle School/Parish commons addition have resulted in significant progress! After the June rain slowed down work on the building shell, the masons have kicked into high gear and are expected to complete the walls by early next week. Achieving this major milestone with minimal unforeseen issues is a testament to the planning and efforts of our entire team.
Last week, we also completed the necessary work on the back retention pond, allowing us to restore the field in between and plant grass seed. Once the new grass takes root, we’ll regain the use of the "soccer field" and reduce the construction-fenced area considerably.
Over the next couple of weeks, we will focus on connecting the addition to electricity through our existing infrastructure and finishing the transition area between the old building and the new one. With this recent progress, we remain on track to move into the new portion of the building by Sp
ring 2025, if not sooner.
